A house of six doors where the jungle descends to the sea. No crowds, no rush: the Caribbean, the shade of the almond trees, and time standing still.
Salvaje hides along a stretch of coast reached only by water or a shaded path, where the Sierra comes down to touch the sand.
Twelve hectares of tropical forest, a beach no one else sets foot on, and six suites that seem to grow among the trees. No front desk, no schedules: just hammocks, coconut water at dawn, and the distant chatter of monkeys. Every corner is designed so that luxury isn't seen, it's felt.
The sea on one side, the jungle on the other,
and nothing in between.
The house is enough never to want to leave. But the Sierra and the sea hold treasures a step away, and whenever you like, we'll take you.
Untouched beaches between jungle and rock, walked before anyone arrives.
Cold rivers, high-altitude coffee, and the highest green above the sea.
Coves of still water to swim, snorkel, or do nothing at all.
Nothing is required. The day shapes itself, between the sea, the table, and the wild.
Origin cuisine with the day's catch and our own garden, served wherever you like: the beach, the jungle, or your terrace.
Massages with oils from the Sierra, to the rhythm of the waves and birdsong.
Dawn boat trips to the park's untouched beaches, with a local guide.
Caribbean-rooted cooking, without pretense: whatever the sea and the garden give that day, barely touched.
The chef builds the menu each morning from what the sea and garden give.
Fish from the bay's fishermen, fruit from the Sierra, herbs from the garden.
Breakfasts by the water, lunches in the shade, candlelit dinners.
Massages with oils from the Sierra to the rhythm of the waves. An open-air cabana facing the sea, hands that know the craft, and nothing else to do.
Massages with local essences, to the rhythm of the waves.
A space without walls, between the jungle and the water.
First light, the sound of the sea, and nothing else to do.
At the edge of the sand, beneath the almond trees: shaded daybeds, cold coconut water, and a kitchen that comes straight from the sea. The whole day unfolds down here, where the wave breaks.
Beach beds beneath the almond-tree shade, with towels and cold water always within reach; never rows, never crowds.
Ceviches, the day's catch, and fruit cocktails, served at the water's edge.
The club doesn't close with the sun: it stays for the best part of the day.
Weddings of few, anniversaries no one forgets, gatherings behind closed doors. Salvaje books out whole: six suites, the private beach, and a team that takes care of everything.
Up to sixteen guests by the sea, with a signature dinner beneath a lampless sky.
All six suites for you and yours; the beach and the jungle, without a single stranger.
Long tables, sunrise yoga, and silence for groups seeking to gather far from the world.
There's no schedule. Just the light shifting over the water.
Coffee and fruit on the terrace as the jungle wakes.
Private beach, kayak, or simply the hammock and a book.
A massage in the wild or a voyage to Tayrona.
Candlelit dinner beneath a sky without lamps.
Salvaje began with two travelers who came for a week and stayed for good.
Mara and Tomás opened the house eight years ago, certain that true luxury is time and silence. Today a small team, most of them from the region, tends to every arrival as if you were family. In the kitchen, chef Iván turns the day's catch into tables you won't forget.

We arrived looking for rest and left feeling that time belonged to us. There's nowhere else like it in the Caribbean.
The sound of the sea coming into the suite, the food, the silence. Every detail considered without the effort ever showing.
Rarely does a place live up to its promise. Salvaje surpasses it. We'll be back every year.
We live off this stretch of coast. Caring for it isn't a program: it's the only way to remain here.
The house runs on solar panels and treated rainwater.
We eat what the garden gives and the bay's responsible fishing.
No single-use plastics; everything returns to the earth or is reused.
Our team and guides are from the Sierra and the coast. The benefit stays.
Daily breakfast, internal transfers from Santa Marta, water and snacks, and access to all common areas. Experiences and additional meals are charged separately.
Confirmed with a 50% deposit; the balance is paid on arrival. Cancellations more than 15 days ahead receive a full refund.
Salvaje is designed as a calm retreat for adults. We welcome children over 12.
There's wifi in the common areas. In the suites we'd rather let the place do its work: disconnect.
Caribbean all year: warm and sunny. The brief afternoon rains, between May and November, are part of the charm.
